Charge card
Start:
1. Press the “card payment” button on the far left of the charger.
2. Follow the instructions on the screen.
3. Press the button below the screen to select charging glove. The name of each charging glove is above the respective socket.
4. Connect the charging glove to your car to start charging.
Exit:
1. Open your charging session on the charger and press the “end” button.
2. Detach the charging glove from your vehicle and put it back in the charger.
3. Press the button on the far right under “receipt” and swipe your payment card if you want a digital receipt.
App
Start:
1. Open the “Nima Energy” app and select the charger you are standing at, for example Munkedal
2, then charging glove A or B. You can see the name on the charger’s screen, among other things.
3. Start the charge by following the other instructions in the app.
4. Connect the charging glove to your car to start charging. You can follow your charging via the app for information on how much you have charged, charging speed and how many percent your car has. To use the app, you must have registered a payment method – such as a payment card – and be a registered user. Receipts and history can be found in the app.
Exit:
1. Press the “exit” button in the app.
2. Detach the charging glove from your vehicle and put it back in the charger.
AutoCharge
Start:
1. Open the “Nima Energy” app and register an account if you haven’t already done so.
2. Select the charger you are standing next to, for example Munkedal 2, then charging glove 1 or 2. You can see the name on the charger’s screen, among other things. You then select the charging glove in the app.
3. Tap AutoCharge instead of Swipe & Charge.
4. Connect the charging glove to your car to start charging. After about 40 seconds, charging starts and your car is now registered with AutoCharge. In the future, you only need to connect any Nima charging glove to your vehicle for AutoCharge to start. You can follow your charging via the app with information on how much you have charged, charging speed and how many percent your car has. Not all vehicles support AutoCharge, please check with your car manufacturer.
Exit:
1. Press the “exit” button in the app or the button on the charger.
2. Detach the charging glove from your vehicle and put it back in the charger. Receipts and history can be found in the app.
Roaming
Charging Card
Start:
1. Place your charging card against the RFID icon located under the screen.
2. Select the desired outlet using the buttons below the charger’s screen.
3. Remove the charging plug from the selected outlet and connect it to your vehicle.
Finish:
1. Tap your charging card against the RFID reader.
2. Press the “stop” button on the charger.
3. Disconnect the charging plug from your vehicle and return it to the charger.
APP via Roaming
Start:
1. Open the app from your service provider.
2. Look for the EVSE-ID that is physically displayed to the right of the outlet you want to use (e.g., “SENMAE4*1”).
3. Once you have found the outlet in the app, click or swipe to start the charging process, depending on the service provider’s interface.
Finish:
1. Stop the charging event from your charging operators app.
2. Disconnect the charging plug from your vehicle and return it to the charger. Receipts and history can be found in the app.
Frequently asked questions
How quickly an electric car can charge depends on the car and the charging point. Fully electric cars can usually charge with a higher output. Plug-in hybrids usually have a limit of 3.7 kW, while many electric cars can handle up to 150 kW. In connection with development, more cars receive support for charging with higher power. Therefore, our chargers are future-proof with an output of up to 400 kW. Information about the effect of individual charging points can be found in the app.
All charging stations use the CCS connector. If your car has a CCS connector, it should be compatible with our chargers. How quickly you can charge with your car varies depending on the model.
Kilowatt (kW) is the way of expressing power or so-called charging speed.
You recognize kilowatt hours (kWh) from your electricity bill and express the amount of energy consumed.
Example: A charger that produces 300 kW of power produces, under optimal conditions, 300 kWh of energy in one hour. Which means 50 kWh in 15 minutes – or 30 miles of driving – if you charge with us.
Charging takes longer when the battery is cold. This has to do with battery chemistry. The ions move more slowly in a cold battery pack than in a warm one. The cold has no effect on the charger itself, which gives the same effect as stated on the label. It is the car’s battery management system that limits the charging speed to protect the battery.
In order for the charging to go faster in cold weather, it is best to charge the electric car while the battery is warm. Therefore, please plan a charging stop at the end of the trip, or precondition the battery before charging.

Our ultra-fast chargers support up to 400 kW (minimum 300 kW up to 400 kW) and therefore have an output that exceeds the maximum limit of most electric cars today. We are preparing for tomorrow’s electric car charging and electric heavy traffic.
When you load and pay directly with a credit card, SEK 1 is reserved in your account when the load starts. When you have finished loading, the amount is returned. This usually only takes a few minutes, but in some cases it may take a few days for the amount to be transferred to your account.
At Nima, you charge for just SEK 4.5/kWh, regardless of which payment method you choose.
Common to the electricity that Nima offers its customers is that it is produced from renewable sources such as solar, wind and hydropower.
The different types of chargers say something about the effect or charging speed – or how long it takes for the charger to deliver power to the car. We only offer ultra-fast chargers at our stations. It is a charger with an output of at least 300 kW, which can provide a charging time of 15 minutes to charge 30 miles of driving – depending on the car type and battery level.

Check that the card details are correct and that it is activated for internet payments.
If the charging point is not available in the app or on the map, it may be a private one, out of order or out of reach in our app.
How much current the battery receives during a given time – the so-called charging rate – depends on several things, including which electric car you have, what kind of charging station you use, the battery temperature and the car’s battery level.
It is always the car that determines how much power it can receive. It is the car’s battery management system that determines the charging speed – this is to protect the battery.
Example: An electric car that does not charge at a higher output than 50 kW can therefore not get more than 50 kW – even if the charger has a maximum output of 400 kW.
All our charging stations are marked with maximum power. Be aware that even if your electric car can handle an output of 150 kW, the output will never be higher than what the charger’s labeling indicates.

Check that the charging point is available in the app. It can be reserved or temporarily out of use. To be able to load, you need to follow the instructions in our app or the instructions on the screen when paying by card.
Some cars have unique routines. A good tip is to check these in the car’s manual.
In order for the charging cable to release the contact with the car, you must end the charging. You can do that most easily in the app. If that doesn’t work, you can check that the cable is properly connected to the car, and try to finish charging again. In some cases, the car must be ready to release the charging cable, in which case the car may need to be unlocked. Read in your car’s manual what applies to that particular car. Should it not work, you can press the emergency shutdown button on the charger.

To register a new card, you need to remove your existing payment method. You can then register a new card and start charging again.
Under the item History, you can see information about your previous recharges and what you paid.
The Nima Energy app is available for download on the App Store or Google Play Store.
You only need to register a payment card and start charging with the app. To be able to log in, you need an account with us. To create an account, simply follow the instructions in the app.
No account is required to use the app.
When you have registered a payment card in the Nima Energy app, an amount will be reserved on your payment card, after which the cost of charging will be deducted. In the app, you choose the payment method that suits you best. Right now we support Visa or Mastercard.
At our charging stations, you can pay with a payment card in a card reader on the charger. You can also pay via our app Nima Energy, as well as register your vehicle for AutoCharge in our app.
