Nima Energy (Nima) has once again been granted funding from the Swedish Energy Agency’s program “Regional electrification pilots heavy transport” to build a charging station for ultra-fast EV charging along the E4 in Örkelljunga. A total of 4 charging points with a power of at least400 kW are planned. In doing so, Nima continues its investment in ultra-fast EV charging for heavy trucks.

Nima has once again been granted funding from the Swedish Energy Agency’s program “Regional electrification pilots heavy transport” to build a strategically located charging station for ultra-fast EV charging along the E4 in Örkelljunga. The new station includes 4 charging points with an output of at least 400 kW.

“If society is to meet the demands of a steadily growing number of electric vehicles, the infrastructure for fast and easy charging must be expanded. Therefore, with the support of the Swedish Energy Agency, we are pleased to be able to supplement our network with a station in Örkelljunga and thus continue our ambitious expansion plan for ultra-fast charging,” says Marcus Landelin, CEO of Nima Energy.

With its 26 ultra-fast charging points, Nima currently has Sweden’s largest network of 400 kW chargers built for heavy trucks. Thanks to the new establishment in Örkelljunga and Nima’s existing charging station in Skillingaryd, there are excellent opportunities for ultra-fast EV charging along the route between Malmö and Jönköping on the E4.

The construction of the station will be completed by autumn 2025.
